When we study the Bible we see there are more than 300 scripture verses on fear. Sometimes fear sneaks in like a snake in the dark, and other times it roars at us like a lion. When we recognize a spirit fear is attacking us, the Bible gives us an antidote: we pray!

Read through the list, find a few favorite verses for your situation and memorize them. Or print a copy and keep it easily available. When you find yourself in a place of fear pull out the list and bring your fears to the Lord in prayer.If your fears are manageable and driving you to unhealthy decisions or depression, please seek help from a medical professional.
