Is a workbook required for the study?
Yes. Bible Cafe™ studies are built on the model of church Bible study groups. Study book is a available from most bookstores. Digital books are sometimes available from Lifeway, ChristianBooks, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, or iTunes. When using a digital book we recommend a journal for recording your responses to the study questions.
Do you have free books?
We do not publish or sell books. Our volunteer leaders, missionaries, military and single moms, have all provided their own books for their study. We save $2 a week in a coin jar and in 6 weeks will typically have enough for a workbook.
Can you help me with counseling?
No. Our leaders are not medical professionals and unable to assist you with counseling. We invite you to join us for Bible study discussions and we will pray with you as a community.
Do you have scholarships for the Bible Cafe™ University ?
Yes, we set aside 10% of our memberships for scholarship. Maintaining the ministry resources requires a commitment from our students. We need everyone to contribute to stay online and serve worldwide. If you cannot help us and if you have a financial need- we can usually help with a scholarship to BibleCafeUniversity.org (study books not included). Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to check availability of scholarships or to be placed on the waiting list.
