In the Bible, there are many scripture verses on worry, anxiety, and trusting God. We worry about our health or the health of a family member. We worry about our marriage and our relationships. We worry about prodigal children and aging parents. We worry about the economy and the political environment. Yet the Bible clearly says not to worry- God’s in control! Sometimes we need to read through a list of worry verses from the Bible as a reminder to stand firm.
Read through the list, find a few favorites, and memorize Bible verses. Or print a copy and keep it in your handbag or computer bag! When you find yourself waiting- such as carpool, at a doctor appointment, or for a class to begin- pull out the list and read it.
